Product Description
The Poly Cotton Legionnaire Cap from Promotional Print provides maximum sun protection with a rear neck flap that covers one of the most exposed areas during outdoor activity. The legionnaire style features a standard front peak combined with a long fabric flap extending from the rear of the cap down over the neck and upper shoulders.
In Australia, where UV exposure is a serious occupational and recreational risk, legionnaire caps are widely used by schools, outdoor workers, sporting clubs, and childcare centres. The rear flap provides shade that a standard cap cannot, protecting the neck from direct sun exposure during extended outdoor periods. Many schools include legionnaire caps as a compulsory part of their outdoor uniform.
The poly cotton blend fabric balances comfort with practicality. Cotton provides breathability and softness, while polyester adds durability and resistance to fading and creasing. The blend washes well and dries quickly, which is important for headwear worn daily by active wearers.
A structured front peak shades the face and eyes, while the legionnaire flap takes care of the neck. The cap fits securely with an adjustable closure, and the overall construction is built to withstand the daily demands of school yards, worksites, and outdoor recreation.
Embroidery branding on the front panels gives schools, clubs, and businesses a visible area for logos and names. Branded legionnaire caps create a cohesive, identifiable group appearance that also demonstrates a commitment to sun safety. Promotional Print handles all embroidery in-house for consistent quality.
This cap is ordered frequently by primary schools, childcare centres, outdoor education providers, landscaping companies, and council maintenance teams. It is a practical, no-fuss piece of sun-smart headwear.
The poly cotton fabric is machine washable and maintains its appearance and sun protection properties through regular laundering.
Available in a range of colours with competitive pricing on bulk orders. Promotional Print ships Australia-wide.
